Find my database on my PC

Follow these steps using your existing folder. Computer and folder names shown are examples.

  1. Locate the folder containing your existing database and make a backup copy with the software closed. Its name may differ from “BASE PROSPECTIVE”.
  2. In Prospective, open Data > Database on my PC > Connect to a database (Données > Base sur mon PC > Se connecter à une base).
  3. Select that existing folder and confirm. Check that your usual contacts appear. An empty database may simply mean the wrong folder is selected: do not delete any files.
